Changing windows to English will avoid the bug. If that is an acceptable solution for you, I appreciate your offering to do that as it will give me some time to find a solution. For those curious about the issue: I am not sure how long it will take to fix this - the technical challenge appears to be that some language constructs in the cypress basic interpreter that is inside mach are not aware of international settings (the same VB calls work correctly). Since there is no way to fix cypress (Cypress no longer supports the interpreter and even if they did only Brian could update it in mach), I'm looking at things that I can do to get around the problem.
