Upgrading from MSM Presonal To Pro

I am upgrading from MSM personal to msm pro i received the welcome/license email from CVI the question i have will the MSM pro overwrite the existing prifile and erase it or will it install keeping the profile intact ? Also i have a custom screen will that be able to be used with the pro version

Short version:
Install Pro over Personal and all should be fine.

Slightly Longer version:
1) Better safe than sorry:
Backup the files for your MSM personal edition profile and the customized MSM screen set files.

2) Profile:
The Mach profile you use for MSM personal edition will be fine for MSM Pro edition. No need to build a new profile for MSM Pro.

3) Customized screen set:
An MSM install never touches things in the MSM custom directories. If you customized MSM using the recommended procedures, those custom files will still be there after the Pro edition install. On the other hand, I've had some people customize the MSM master files directly and then they wonder why they got overwritten at the next MSM install.... I always tells people to backup first - it's cheap insurance.

You will probably have to reload the custom screen set as the active set (MSM settings common page, load screens) as an MSM edition change installation will probably default to 10x7 resolution and standard screens.

4) After the MSM pro install you may need to set the PDF reader and GCode editor after MSM pro starts up.
Often this is not need, but this can be reset by an MSM install depending on the personal and pro versions being installed. You can set these from the settings common page.
