Probing cababilities

I'm new to cnc and recently set up probe ..I can do the edge finding, etc found on probing page but was hoping to do some 2D mapping of parts to reproduce.. I'm not finding reference to this anywhere..am I missing something or is MSM's probing capability limited to setup and tool changes?

Hi, MSM does implement and outline or part tracing probing routines.
