Hi,

MachStdMill v1.1.1 is now available for download as the release version.

My thanks to the beta testers which helped to make this release happen.

MachStdMill v1.1 key enhancements:

1) Enhanced probing facilities:
Probing operation support has been significantly enhanced and now offers the most complete work setup probing features available for Mach.

Operation groups include:
• Edge, Surface and Corner finding (w edge angle measurement)
• Ridge & Valley center finding
• Circular and rectangular Pocket center finding
• Circular and rectangular Post center finding
• A and B axis rotational center finding and axis alignment

2) Auto-TLO and On-Machine Tool Measuring:
Advanced tool measuring support is included to do “on machine” measurement of tools, removing the need for expensive offline tool pre-setters.

Tools can be measured on the machine and TLOs are calculated and entered automatically into the tool table. TLO support includes all three documented TLO techniques (TLO=PTL, TLO=WCZ0 and Master Tool mode).

3) Tool Table Handling:
MSM Tool Table handling has been significantly enhanced.

A tool table saved by any MSM machine can be loaded on any MSM machine.
The distinction between tool table files created by an imperial (inch) setup units machine and a metric (mm) setup units machine has been removed.

Support was added for mixed units tool tables at the user interface.
Example: Tool diameters may be entered in the natural units of the tool, independent of the setup units of the machine.

4) All bug reports closed:
Release v1.0.2 proved to be very stable with few bugs. The few reported MSM bugs have been fixed for v1.1 and there are no open errata items as of v1.1’s release.

I see that I've proven that Mr. Murphy's law is alive and well...

If you down loaded MSM 1.1.0 earlier today, please download v1.1.1.

A debug setting was accidentally left on in v1.1.0, it won't cause a problem during operation, but it does make MSM work harder than it needs to by creating debug logs as it runs which uses unnecessary CPU power and wastes disk space.

MSM 1.1.1 has the debug settings back to their normal release settings (If needed, they can be dynamically turned on to trace actions for bug reports).

MachStdMill v1.1.2 has been released.

The major item in this release is a change to make MSM work (better) with the Mach 3.43.35 development release. Mach 3.43.35 has a partial fix for the Mach "Esc/stop don't stop scripts" bug.

However, mach 3.43.35 also has other issues.... you need to read the MSM release notes for MSM 1.1.2 and then decide if mach 3.43.22 or mach 3.43.35 is more appropriate for your needs.

There are also a couple of other minor things corrected in MSM 1.1.2 - see release notes.

MachStdMill v1.1.3 has been released.

This corrects the problem with ATC scripts which appeared due to the change in Mach's GetCurrentTool() call as of Mach 3.43.35

There are also a couple of other minor things corrected in MSM 1.1.3 - see release notes.

MachStdMill v1.1.4 has been released.

Only one change in this release: Corrected a bug relating to updating from v1.0.x to v1.1.x when running windows with non-US english regional settings.

MachStdMill v1.1.5 has been released.

This is a minor bug fix release: Corrected a problem with the RPM DRO display due to a change in Mach 3.43.37.

Also did a minor update to the programmer's ref manual to better document the RPMOverride flag in Mach.

MachStdMill v1.1.6 has been released.

This is a minor bug fix release: Corrected the problem that could cause MSM to look for a odd Mach version (ex: 16.29.16)

Hi,
MSM 1.1.9 has been posted.

This is the 1.1.8.dx beta series released as a production release.

We recommend that users update to MSM 1.1.9.
Among other things, it includes the fix for the "non-US windows license date" bug.

P.S. in case anyone is wondering, the 1.1.8 series was released only as beta versions.
