I find that many questions and reports don't include basic information.
I'd request that when reporting a suspected bug, or asking for help with a problem, that the post always include at least these pieces of information:
1) Mach version:
2) MSM version and edition (personal or pro):
Also for MSM > 2.0 I need to know if you are running Mill, Mill-Turn or Turn.
3) Windows version:
3a) If vista Win7 or Win8, 32 or 64 bit?
4) Interface: Parallel Port? Smooth Stepper? or ?
5) Are any plug-ins installed? If so, what are they?
If this info is not provided my first response will generally be to ask...
If folks get in the habit of always proving this info, it will get you to a useful response sooner and it will save me having to ask.
