Trying to setup MillTurn, No Joy

Installed MSM with Lathe options.

From the Readme Manual:
It is OK to clone an existing MSM MILL profile…… DONE

From the TURN Manual 1.4.1
……and will start Mach with a lathe profile for MillTurn.
The setup process given in the README file creates the necessary lathe mode profile.

The README manual covers this for creating a profile from a PRE-EXISTING MSM but not where you have copied a Mill profile (that I could see).

From the settings tab, load screen displays .set files but not .lset files?

I’ll bite, how do I get there from here?

Sorry about that - I guess the instructions could be improved.

Here is how to get what you want:
1) you copied an existing MIll profile and are going to use it for mill-turn. Or you created a new profile - either way I'm going to call the resulting profile that is to be used for mill-turn "MTProfile".
2) Start mach with the MTProfile. This will bring mach up in mill mode (since the copy was made from a mill profile).
3) Now then, the secret you are looking for is that mach decides whether to run in mill or turn mode by looking at the screen set loaded by the profile.
Use the mach menu: view, load screen and you will get the mach dialog to select screen sets. The dialog filters and only shows .set files (since mach is in mill mode, mach assumes you are looking for mill mode .set screen sets). Use the "files of type" drop down to change the file filtering from *.set to *.LSET - this will get the lset (lathe set) files displayed.
4) pick MachStdMIllLathe.lset as the screen set to load. Note this is the ONLY screen set that should be loaded for mill-turn (or turn) for MSM. Think of it as the "master MSM lathe mode screen set". Once it is loaded, all subsequent MSM screen choices will be via the MSM settings page.
5) Shut down mach. Mach only writes changes to a profile when it is shut down- so we do a shut down to force the new LSET screen set file to be saved to the MTPRofile.
6) restart mach with the MTProfile - this time mach will come up in lathe mode.
7) now go to the MSM settings common screen and use the "load screen" button to pick the MSM Turn or MIll-Turn screens and the 10x7 or 12x9 resolution versions. You will be able to see the LSET files now since mach and MSM are in lathe mode.

See - it's easy once you know the secret handshake..... I'd have liked to make this all more intuitive, but it's best we could do given how mach3 works.
