Loading a T# without it calling up a tool change

Hi
I have a 10 tool tool changer on my mill. I have the M6/M6ATC macro working great with MSM but I'm having a bit of a work flow problem. With my normal mach setup I usually shut down with T1 in the spindle. When I start it up in the morning I enter #1 in the tool number dro and this lets the M6 routine know that T1 is in the spindle. I can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this easily in MSM. I figured out a kludge by going into mach config and setting the tool change to manual, loading T1 then switching it back to ATC. I'm assuming there is a better way ( I hope).
I used to have a "ignore tool change" button on my old screen set but I cant seem to locate that on MSM.

Thanks
Derek

Hi Derek,
The answer is long and involved.... I made a sticky post of the text the last time I got asked this (easier than retyping the info again).
