Error when probing

Hi,

I have tried to use probing operation on my machine. I have loaded my probing tool (M6 T250) and after select probing the flat surface. When I do that a first error appear in top bar of the software

Error on line 5277 -object variable or block variable is not set

If I click a second time this pop-up appear

Open Debug log file failed. Err: 70 Permission Denied.

I have looked in the software folder to get log. The only thing I found is LastError.txt. In this file I found same error as previous.

Not recent change has been done on the software or computer.

This is what I have got from reference page

MachSTDMill Screen for Mach3 V3
2009-2012

If you need more infor can you let me know where I can get detailed version number

Also I got similar error as the one I have when I'm trying to use the probe but this time when I use install & Config button in Reference page. It is error 91 but seems referencing similar proble with variable block not set

Hi,
MSM Version info is on the MSM reference page. See box in middle of page, lower part of the panel with the buttons, or click the "license Info" button in the middle off the panel.

Ok I did that but license info button give me no result. Nothing happen when I push it

Is V 2.1.6 can be my version. I found it in MachStdMillSetup log file

Hum, that's not happened before.
Can you take a screen shot of the MSM reference page?

Hi,
Thanks for the picture of the reference page -

The fact that that page has an "activation button" tells me that the version of MSM you have installed is older than 3.x The end of life final release) - it is probably a 2.x release (Maybe an even older 1.x release). That limits what can be done to resolve the problem you are experiencing.

My suspicion is that your MSM installation has been corrupted. I suggest that you reinstall MSM from the installer file and see if the problem goes away.
However, DO NOT attempt to (re)activate your old version of MSM after the installation - if you do, the activation process will fail.
It is no longer possible to (re)activate a MSM 2.x or 1.x installation.

Several months ago, MSM reached "end of life" and all MSM versions are no longer supported.

If you were unaware of this situation, you may be feeling upset as you read this. Or you may be thinking that you would like to upgrade to the 3.x (end of life) version.
Unfortunately, that is not an option. MSM was changed to end of life status as part the process of closing down Calypso Ventures, Inc.
The company is closed, and there is no longer a way to sell new MSM licenses or upgrade old licenses.
