MachStdMill End Of Life Announcement

After 10+ years, CVI has decided to put the MachStdMill product into an End of Life status and discontinue sales of new licenses for the product.

Current plans are that the MachStdMill product pages will continue to be available on the CVI web site and this user support forum will remain online. However, CVI is no longer actively monitoring or responding to support posts on the user forums.

Additionally, we will be shutting down the product's license server. When that occurs, attempts by existing releases of MachStdMIll to activate or deactivate an installation will get an error (due to the license server not responding) and the action will fail.

The most common (and essentially only) support request we have received in the last few years have been requests for additional activations due to a PC hardware failure. In order to enable existing MachStdMIll customers to continue to use their product license on future replacement hardware, we are planning to make available a final EOL (end-of-life) MSM release. Current Licensees will be contacted with further information regarding the availability of the EOL release.

July 1st, 2021 -

MSM license updates ended yesterday on 6/30/2021.
The EOL release version for customers with current MSM licenses as of yesterday are ow being prepared.
When they are ready, customers with current licenses will be emailed an individual link to download their EOL release installer.
We currently expect the DL links to be ready by the end of next week (after the July 4th holiday weekend).

Update as of July 11, 2021

A 2nd MSM EOL release, version 3.1.0, is available for MSM EOL customers. Release notice email went out today to all MSM EOL customers.
This release fixes a couple of bugs that crept into the EOL 3.0.0 release. See the 3.1.0 release notes.
