Re: TLO measurement issue. Tool crashing into TCP touch plat

Yes, I agree, I will try to lower it at much as possible but breaking tools is an expensive hobby and also a time consuming one. I will try to design a Z-sensor, for measuring tools, with an E-Stop included function if the machine will try to go down more than usual. At least, I'll not break more bi...

Re: TLO measurement issue. Tool crashing into TCP touch plat

I raised the debounce for probing from 50 to 150. Keep testing but no errors so far.
Thanks

Re: TLO measurement issue. Tool crashing into TCP touch plat

I'll recheck section 8.11 ASAP and also I'll play again with some debounce settings.

Thanks for your fast reply

Re: MachStdMill with ESS and what version of Mach3?

Thanks, so far so good, one more day, all good.
I still have some issues (lag) regarding modbus cfgs (maybe to many) but this is another story.
It seems .066 it's working good with MSM and ESS under W7/x64. No homing issues, no probing/measuring issues.

Best regards

Re: MachStdMill with ESS and what version of Mach3?

Wow, thank you for such a complete explanation. But I still have one more question, if somehow you know the answer: ESS will have homing issues under .066? This is what I am afraid for. And probing/measuring, too. I just installed a new combination of W7x64, Mach3 .066, last plugin of ESS and my MSM...

MachStdMill with ESS and what version of Mach3?

Hello, ESS recommends Mach3 v3.043.062 MSM say Mach3 v3.043.066 because of some lags in .062 (which I tried and have it also) My machine have master/slave steppers (and homing limit switches for master/slave) for Y and Z axis, so the homing procedure have to work without issues. Any experiences to s...

Re: ATC, oldtool = newtool, still going for nothing to TCP T

hello again I played a little bit and I think I have a solution I made new macro, to replace regular M6, and this new macro will check for newtool <> oldtool before loading M6 macros Also, will disable TCAutoTCP, TCAutoTLO, TLO=PTL and SkipRHTool if newtool is a RH tool, before running the M6 macros...

Re: ATC, oldtool = newtool, still going for nothing to TCP T

Thanks for your input, at this moment I'll let the machine to make more movements, like gym exercises, even not useful. I prefer safe than fast. Same situation here, Romania, but for now not very restrictive. We can go to work, still... I wish you all the best and "happy quarantine", if I'...
